The trip up to Grytehorgi starts at Maurhuset in Sysendalen. Start at the ski center and follow the DNT signs for Grytehorgi. The route starts on a clearly marked path over marshes and streams. As soon as you can see the snaufjellet clearly and distinctly, the marking changes to cairns. To the north you get a spectacular view of Jøkulen, and to the south another beautiful sight - Hardangervidda. When you reach Grytehorgi, just follow the same road back or follow the arrows that go down into the terrain for a new route home. This road leads you back to the middle of the alpine slope. As this tour offers a stream and marshes, we recommend that you find good footwear. This is a moderately demanding trip of 6.2 kilometers.
